![]() You have to change this to DVD9, so that all content is copied as it is, and not shrinked. By default, copying of DVD content to disk is done by shrinking it to size of 4.2 Gb (DVD5, 1 single sided dvd). Otherwise, you might not be doing what you think you are doing. Some of the operations might be a bit misleading, you have to look carefully. ![]() You can also rip the content into an avi or mkv file. With DVDFab you can easily copy whole DVD and Bluray content on your hard disk such as it is, or shrink it to suitable size (e.g single-sided DVD). If it happens that restoring defaults also resets your trial period, so be it! You are using normal features provided by program, there is no cracking, no key generation or anything like that. Leaving moral implications aside, I do not see that there is nothing illegal in here. If you now start DVDFab again, you will notice that your trial period has been reseted (it starts anew). Press it, and then click those dialogs with OK button. Pressing it open a window where there is a button to restore defaults. In the top bar (where you can see Close, Minimize etc buttons) there is a green round button. However, in wine you can use indefinitely with this trick that I found out. It is shareware program with 30 day trial period. Quite easy to use, and fortunately it runs on Wine, so Linux users can enjoy it too. DVDFab is a DVD copying and ripping software for Windows.
